Where’s the Money? Episode #5: will mobile help Turntable.fm monetize?

Welcome to our NEW newest show: “Where’s The Money?”. It is here we try to decipher the way some of the more popular mobile applications and services will generate cold hard cash. The industry is full of promise but only a handful of companies will crack the buck. “Where’s The Money” is where we put them to the test.

Turntable.fm recently launched an iOS version of their service to the world – er, well, the United States anyways. Can this mobile app replace the steep decline in activity their website has suffered since turning down a whack of cash from Spotify? We ask: where is Turntable.fm’s revenue model and can they survive?

Question of the week: Does Turntable.fm jive with the way you use your mobile phone?
