I’m not sure that Layar needs any introduction at all – they’ve been at the forefront of augmented reality on smartphones since, well, we’ve heard of augmented reality on smartphones.
Maarten Lens-FitzGerald, one of the founders, talks about the evolution of the company, the early feedback, how they secured funding and then secured our imaginations with a technology that is still emerging.
This is a wide ranging, future-thinking episode on what impact augmented reality is going to have on our lives – from re-imagining history to learning to democratizing data.
