For 20 years I’ve been immersed in the middle of the technology and mobile revolution in roles ranging from strategic advisor, board member and coach to VP Operations and President & CEO. In each of the companies that I’ve been involved with, I’ve helped shape strategy, marketing initiatives and product development to extend existing business into the mobile world — or flat out create new businesses leveraging mobile.

My experience is as diverse as the mobile industry — from a mobile game company targeting consumers to a mobile IT solution targeting enterprises to a video podcast focused on understanding the ins and outs of developing, marketing and selling mobile applications (found at

Asif KhanAsif is a veteran sales and business-development executive and entrepreneur with an outstanding track record in both the public and private sectors. Having recently completed an assignment as country manager for Vex Canada, one of the world leaders in WiFi, with operations in more than 35 countries, Asif is now focused on working as an independent consultant, speaker and venture capitalist to the location-based services community. In support of this, Asif has recently formed the Location Based Marketing Association a group dedicated to research and education in the space.

Peggy Anne SalzPeggy is the chief analyst and founder of MobileGroove. Her report, Mobile Search & Content Discovery, was regarded as the first in-depth study of its kind, establishing Peggy as an authority on mobile search and content discovery technologies. Her most recent series of practical how-to white papers covers the basics of mobile advertising and mobile analytics, earning her a reputation as a leading mobile advertising expert. She is currently working on a mobile marketing thought leadership resource commissioned by the Mobile Marketing Association (scheduled for publication in 2012).

Peggy has established a successful career based on vision, insight, versatility, and more than 15 years of industry experience. Her work, which includes more than 300 articles on mobile industry news and developments, has appeared in magazines and online destinations such as The International Herald Tribune, The Wall Street Journal, Mobile Entertainment, Mobile Media, New Media Age, and in the Agile Minds column in EContent magazine, among many more.

Peggy is also the author of the Netsize Guide, an annual mobile industry almanac published by Netsize, a Gemalto company. The reference work, which Peggy has written for four consecutive years, features analysis and exclusive interviews with dozens of industry influencers and executives.
