Zappos Labs Director Will Young on being a Canadian in the Bay

Canadians are everywhere. It’s true. We’ve run the International Space Station, we’ve won gold medals, play on most NHL hockey teams, have a strong contingent of all-star baseball players, are revered around the globe and today’s guest is the Director of Tony Hsieh’s Zappos Labs in San Francisco.

Will Young, originally from Vancouver BC, now makes his home in San Francisco – where he’s been for 15 years. In this episode, we explore his path to Zappos from BC, his advice for Canadians looking to work in the Bay Area and his fond memories of wintering in our nation’s capital, Ottawa.

Tony has been on before – talking about the Las Vegas Tech Fund (can be found here).
