Discounts are seemingly driving retail these days but it is the language of the discounts that make the difference. Take a recent study by PriceGrabber that asked 3000 people if they would prefer 50% off or $50 off a $100 purchase. The results aren’t as predictable. The other interesting fact is in the percentage of people that are very interested in giving up personal information while they are in the store for some benefit. Watch on.
