Dinesh is the Founder and CEO of Hatch Labs, a mobile technology sandbox, which has built over 10 startups in NY and CA targeting the wireless generation. Prior to Hatch, Dinesh started the mobile group at IAC in 2007, where he served as a Sr. Vice President of IAC. He was previously the VP of Strategy & Corporate Development at Citysearch, where he led early publisher acquisitions paving the way for CityGrid Media’s local ad marketplace. Previously, Dinesh built consumer technology products at Samsung Electronics in Korea and North America. With a vision around media convergence, he created the satellite radio-MP3 business from concept to steady-state operations, winning over 10 consumer technology & industry awards. In Asia, Dinesh managed cross-border teams in the Samsung Chairman’s Office, focused on new product innovation and turnarounds. He has worked in Investment Management at Goldman Sachs, the Global Energy Practice at Arthur D. Little and was an early employee at Mainspring (acquired by IBM). Dinesh helped co-found Saffronart, a leading e-commerce and online auction house for fine art and collectibles. He serves as a board director and advisor to several companies including American Express OPEN. Dinesh remains an active participant in Harvard Community Partners, having most recently worked with Literacy Inc. Dinesh earned his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Northwestern University and his MBA from Harvard Business School.
