10 ways to sell more mobile apps – with Pretzil co-founder Kyle McInnes Rob Woodbridge April 25, 2012 Mobile Marketing, Mobile Strategy How do you make sure your mobile app gets into peoples hands after all the hard work put into coding it? That’s where Pretzil and its co-founder Kyle McInnes come in. We tackle the 10 things app developers need to do in order to move their product through the mobile digital bitsphere. From blogger to business guy. From app creation to app promotion. Which is harder? While not the theme of this episode there is an undertone of how hard it really is to start something and make it work – especially in an industry like ours where there is so much happening and everyone is fighting for the same scarce thing: your attention. Kyle has been doing this for quite some time – having run BlackBerryCool.com and QuicklyBored.com at one time. Now he is a full time entrepreneur trying to help app developers become successful. A friend of mine over at Apptopia referred me to your blog and I hit this interview right off the bat. Learned tons. Would love to get more information to you about my newest app, golf whiz, and have you take a look. I’ll put together a write-up and send it to you, as you guys suggested in the video. In the mean time, http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/golf-whiz/id515594332?ls=1&mt=8 I noticed that pretzil is only on the canadian app store. Any reason it not available on the USA store? http://untether.tv Rob Woodbridge Thanks @facebook-1474906102:disqus ! Send along your stuff. I believe @kylemcinnes:twitter will be rolling out the Pretzil app to the US soon. Canada is a great place to beta test these things! Thanks again for the feedback. http://about.me/kylemcinnes Kyle McInnes Paul, thanks for submitting Golf Whiz to pretzil. I’ll get back to you via email and tell you more about some of the upcoming developer features.
