This week:
Apple is set to launch their cloud service this week at WWDC which makes the nascent cloud service offering industry a very competitive and confusing space. We dive into this and talk openly about who would want to stream music from the cloud (see: Is streaming music from the cloud just FM radio 2.0?)
We take a closer look at the state of the App Store economy – specifically looking at the question of what works best, the curated approach that Apple has chosen or the openness that Google has chosen. We also discuss the important role Amazon is playing in shaping the retail experience in app purchases.
We finish off diving into the smartphone market share stand off currently happening which leads to a very lively discussion about what should be measuring instead of what we are measuring.
