6Wunderkinder: How their todo app, Wunderlist, got to 1,000,000 downloads – with PR Director Jessica Erickson

How does a new company launch their first mobile product and have it downloaded over 1,000,000 times? Not only that, but to also launch on every major mobile platform, both major desktops and in 13 languages in a highly competitive market with a team of fewer than 25.

I asked Jessica Erickson, PR Director of German startup 6Wunderkinder, on to UNTETHER.tv to explain how they managed to launch right, how they managed to launch everywhere and on everything and we even dive into what the startup and mobile startup community is like in Germany.

Great article. I’m a huge fan of Wunderlist. A perfect loss leader. Looking forward to the next thing.

A really great interview with inspiring points. Enjoyed it as a woman entrepreneur myself.
Love the effort they’re doing as a startup scene in Europe and headed over to Siliconalley immediately to read more.

  • Good stuff in this video interview. Than you Rob, it is my first visit, on a recommendation from a friend. On the topic of these productivity and task management tools I wanted to suggest to you to give a look to Asana which I found refreshing and immediately useful. See what you think of it.

    Cheers from sunny Rome!

  • Thanks @RobinGood:disqus  and welcome to UNTETHER.tv. I will take a look at Asana as well – thanks for the recommendation!
