UNTETHER.tv was the official broadcast partner for the recent Mobile Innovation Week and this is one of the sessions we had while on location in Toronto.
The YellowPages.ca is the ideal partner for mobile companies: They have spent millions (MILLIONS) of dollars building one of the most comprehensive, location-based database of companies across Canada and are now letting everyone who wants to have access to it for their mobile applications through their YellowAPI program.
I caught up with Stephane Marceau, Chief Marketing Officer of Yellow Pages Group to ask one simple question: “Why on earth would you give up your IP and make this available to everyone?” His answer and the answers to the other questions I threw at him are great, insightful and really really good for our industry.
