UNTETHER.tv was the official broadcast partner for the recent Mobile Innovation Week and this is one of the sessions we had while on location in Toronto.
Richard Ivey, Senior Vice-President Customer Service at Media Experts gives us a level-headed run down of how and when to use mobile. His approach is realistic and challenges the way agencies are doing business and approaching mobile today. His thesis? Move away from click-throughs and on to cost per customer contact.
This is a very good session and, as a mobile guy, I really appreciate his candor – decidedly non-hype. If you are disillusioned by the way mobile is portrayed and the somewhat app-focused approach some shops are pushing, this will be a breath of fresh air.
